Modern Cake Cutting Wedding Songs 2010

Assisi with those to be confirmed ...

An extraordinary experience! It is the first thing that comes to mind ... we were coming back from Assisi in forty-eight: 34 boys, 8 animators, a cook, a deacon, two nuns, a priest and the mythical driver Rinaldo who accompanied us throughout the trip. There were three days of intense and rich experiences: we thought, played, shared moments as simple as lunch and deep prayer and the testimony of three girls on their way to become nuns. This year we were lucky with the weather ... the sun shone in Assisi, as we have seen the last snowfall to the shrine on Mount Averna.

are two symbols that have accompanied us: the tree and the Tau! The tree was present in the first reading on Sunday and was one of us, like the tree we were along a stream that represents the love of God which nourishes us and supports us in our difficulties. The Holy Mass we celebrated by the sisters of St. Philip, who hosted us.

The second symbol, however, was the Tau, the letter "T" St. Francis used as a signature and loved so much because last letter of the Hebrew alphabet and symbol of the cross where Christ died and died for us. To each was given the Tau blessed one of the most important for St. Francis: the shrine of Rivo Torto. Inside the church there are two homes that housed the first brothers, right there we had a prayer and have received the symbol so dear to the saint.

Another place full of spirituality has been the church of San Damiano, where we have an intense silent prayer at the place where Francis found his calling to "repair the church." The crucifix that spoke to the holy instead we venerated in the beautiful church of Santa Chiara, which is jealously guarded by the Poor Clares.

But the experience was good for the moments of fun and games that Vito and Xavier have prepared with such passion! In the evening, in fact, remained together until well past eleven without realizing that the time spent during prime time ... there were games in theme to life St. Francis, while the second night we proposed tests and also a fun little 'extreme' that sometimes require courage and team spirit!

the last day, after cleaning the house we went to the Sanctuary of La Verna at 1200 meters high ... as you can see from the photo was really a lot of snow and the landscape seemed enchanted ! After a fleeting lunch in the heat of the room dedicated to Santa Chiara, we visited the cold, rocky place where Francis lived and prayed. We also saw the place where the saint has been given the gift of the Stigmata by the appearance of the risen Christ, and finally we had a nice photo in the snow in front of the convent.
