We Dance
If there are many saints who do not like dancing,
there are many others who needed to dance, so
were happy of life:
St. Teresa with her castanets,
St. John of the Cross with Baby Jesus in her arms
and St. Francis before the Pope
If we were happy to Thee, O Lord, we could not resist
this need to dance that breaks into the world;
easily guess which dance you like us to dance,
doing the steps that your Providence scored.
Because I think that maybe you will have enough
of people who always speaks
to serve with the frown of a leader, to meet with air
professor
to be reached by regular sports
to love you as one loves a wedding aged.
O Lord, make inviting us.
We are ready to dance this race we need to do,
these accounts,
lunch to prepare,
this vigil where we will sleep.
We are ready to dance the dance of the work,
that of the hot and the cold, later.
If certain melodies are often low-key,
not say that you are sad, if other
make us a little gasp,
not say that you are consuming.
And if someone strikes you on the street, smiled: this is also
dance.
Lord, come and ask us.
